Halloween is the second most celebrated Holiday in our nation, Christmas is the first but the question is should Christian celebrate Halloween? The answer is NO we should not because it is a Demonic observation.
Some People see Halloween as a fun time, dressing up like Witches, Vampires, and Ghosts etc. they would even dress their Children up in various costumes but the underlining issue is observation of something that is Demonic and Christian should not take part in it.
Satan is always trying to get some glory. He still want to be God so he has managed to seduce People by causing them to believe that there is no harm in celebrating Halloween but there is great harm in it. Participation in this event is giving glory to Satan and not God and this is exactly what he wants.
Are there consequences in celebrating this day? I believe there is because anytime we do not honor God then we are honoring the Devil and there are no blessings in honoring Him.
Christian should not touch anything that does not pertain to the Kingdom of God and witches, Ghosts and Vampires have no part in His Kingdom. You might ask what if I do not wear these type of costumes but something else like a Queen or a King costume. It is still wrong because you are still observing that Day. It is not so much about what you are wearing but it is more about what you are doing and this is what God observing.
In my Church, we make a show of Satan. On that night we have Hallelujah night, hallelujah is the highest praise that we can give God. We would take our Children to Church and play games with them. We would give them candy but not in wrappers that relates to the colors that Halloween have so we are worshiping God and making a show of the Devil.
You might say, well it is only one Day out of a Year but think about this, God created it and He did it for His Glory. His word said that He will not give His Glory to another so not even October 31 should be taken out of His Glory. This is not well pleasing to Him.
If we want to be blessed then we should consider our ways and make adjustments in it. Children come to our home on that night expecting treats and it maybe hard to turn them away but it is the right thing to do.
I use to celebrate this day until my eyes were open to the truth. I started telling Children that I did not have candy and soon they stopped coming to my house. I notice that they did not hate me but respected me, all because I took a stand for the Lord. No one has ever done anything to my family, property or me concerning my decision about Halloween. The Lord preserves His own.

God detest this so much and He warned us that practicing these rituals as fun or not - He has made it clear that WE will NOT enter into the Kingdom of Heaven!
Galatians 5:19-21 : "acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God."
Deuteronomy 18: 9-14 : "When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there. Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you.You must be blameless before the LORD your God.The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so."
Revelations 21:6-8 : "He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. this is serious! If God detested these wicked practices from the beginning then that mean's He still finds these rituals an abomination! Yes...even in today's world! "Our God is the same Yesterday, Today and forever!" --- Therefore, on that day when the Lord returns; You cannot HIDE and say "No, I never knew these practices were wrong..I only did it for fun!" because God will remind You that you have read about this article and You were warned about it! ..... Harsh right?? But think about it, If you are not warned about this now you still will live in ignorance all your lives and finally the Day of Judgement comes ---- At that time YOU Don't want GOD to make his final words on You and put you in Hell! Is that where you want to Go? ......No right? ... Hope You make the right choices!

As a Christian What can You do on Halloween?
FIVE TIPS to reach out to People to tell the Gospel!
1) PRAY! Intercession and spiritual warfare should be the first item on our agenda. It is NOT a last resort!
2) You can take your children out in cute Bible character costumes and go TRICK or TRACT-ing - huh? - i.e You can reach out in your neighborhood by giving them a Gospel tract and playing short skit of why Jesus came to die for us or any short bible story!
3) What if Kids come to your house for trick or treating? Don't shoo them away or close the doors on them. Instead You can give them some candy and give them a small Bible or a Gospel tract. This way you are spreading the Gospel to so many people from Your house.
4) You can also dress up with your friend in Bible costumes and go to the near by Malls and give out candies and Gospel tracts, Bible, make a conversation with people there and talk about JESUS! This is the best opportunity to share the Gospel!
5) Finally again, Obey the first Tip - Join with other families and friends in your church and PRAY for protection, discernment and salvation for the lost souls in this world! They need JESUS! 
Our PARTY will be in HEAVEN WHEN JESUS COMES BACK! Woohoo! :)
